Oregano Herb Plant Varieties

Origanum

Growing to a range of different heights, with a choice between colours of their flowers and leaves there’s one to suit everyone. From the common Oregano with its own special characteristic flavour and scent through the variegated leaves of Country Cream to French Golden with its pale pink flowers we move on to the Marjorams, Golden leaves or just Golden Tipped? Or how about the unique flavour of the half-hardy Sweet Marjoram?

The others are hardy perennials and although they would love a Mediterranean type climate and conditions they will thrive in most situations and do very well in pots and containers.
