One of the first mints to get going each year, this is a fully hardy perennial with mid green oval pointed leaves that have a strongly spearmint scented aroma. Upright growing with mauve flowers from Summer to Autumn and one of my favourites. Use to flavour meat, chicken and fish, in soups, to make a refreshing tea or in Mojitos!
