This tarragon has smooth, dark green, spear shaped, narrow leaves with a very strong flavour that is superior to any other Tarragon. It will need protection from frost. Plant in slightly moist soil in full sun where it will flourish during the Summer months.
Used extensively in French cuisine, particularly chicken, egg and fish dishes although we've found it's also great with mushrooms.
The stems will die off during the colder months, if you can keep it very dry you should see new ones emerge in the spring - that is how the plant will look if you buy it at the start of its growing season.

i chose the tarragon to add to may herb collect. The plant arrived well packed and felt like there was enough water for its Journey. I have brought all my herbs from this company. Price is good per plant. The web site is easy to navigate through to find what you are looking for. P&P if you are is a little high i think. Though the quality of service makes up for that
